We’re looking for a Project Engineering Manager to manage and drive design and engineering projects within a process plant and pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment.



What does the job involve?

· Providing leadership to the site project team ensuring resources required for project delivery are in place.

· Ensure projects are delivered to cost, quality and time.

· Approval of plans, ensuring they are maintained and communicated within the department and cross-functionally.

· Develop budgets, annual capital program budgets and monitor spend.

· Manage governance management system, ensuring that it is utilised, maintained, and developed in line with business needs.

· Promote, identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

· Ensure all projects are delivered in an HSE and Quality compliant manner and that all corporate and regulatory requirements are met.

· Developing the capability of the team and the team members.

· Ensure services provided by external consultants and contractors are in accordance with company standards and practices and are secured in the most economic manner.



What skills and experience do you need?

  • Degree in Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience and 3 years’ practical functional engineering experience in production environment.
  • Strong people management and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with leading multiple projects, cost controls, forecasting and planning.
  • Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels and with external customers/suppliers.


What are the pay and benefits?

  • Circa £65K per annum (dependent on experience)
