Subsea Works Coordinator
Location: London & Offshore UK
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday
Contract: 12-month contract with strong possibility of extension
Day Rate: Negotiable DOE - please send over your preferred rate
We are currently seeking an experienced Subsea Works Coordinator to support a major infrastructure project in the UK. This role will involve coordinating and supervising a wide range of subsea and offshore construction activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing offshore installation activities, managing operational interfaces, and ensuring readiness for subsea operations. The role will involve occasional offshore travel and work on marine vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safe, high-performance and cost-effective subsea operations.
- Monitor installation engineering readiness and offshore schedules.
- Oversee subsea construction activities including cable laying, trenching, diving operations, load-out activities, and pipeline pre-commissioning.
- Coordinate simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) when required.
- Act as the primary point of contact for offshore supervisors during offshore operations.
- Maintain communication with offshore platforms, jack-ups and project vessels.
- Track project material delivery and installation readiness.
- Maintain records of vessel activity, daily reports, incidents and near misses.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- Support offshore installation and platform interface activities.
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in Engineering, Marine Operations, or a related technical discipline.
- Qualifications in Project or Construction Management.
- Extensive experience in marine operations, offshore installation, and subsea construction activities.
- Experience supporting diving operations and offshore installation campaigns.
- Understanding of jack-up site assessment requirements and associated processes.
- Strong understanding of offshore operational planning and coordination.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

- Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
- Willingness and ability to travel offshore when required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with offshore teams and project stakeholders.
