Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days on-site after probation)

Overview

We’re recruiting Senior Electrical Designers to support a long-term programme of work within the pharmaceutical sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, multidisciplinary engineering environment delivering a high volume of varied projects each year.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver electrical design support across multiple projects at different stages
• Produce reports, scopes of work, and both concept and detailed designs
• Prepare design drawings for power, lighting, fire safety systems and electrical O&M models
• Contribute to delivering projects on time, within budget and to agreed standards
• Liaise closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Support approx. 40 projects per year under a framework arrangement
Skills & Experience Required
• Experience working on pharmaceutical projects (Horus security clearance required)
• Minimum 5 years’ electrical design experience
• HNC or engineering degree preferred
• Professional membership beneficial
• Strong technical knowledge across LV distribution, lighting, fire safety, security and cabling systems
• Familiarity with CDM 2015 and UK construction standards
• Ability to produce 2D/3D designs, layouts and routing diagrams
• Proficient in AutoCAD LT, Relux/Dialux, Trimble and Navisworks (Revit advantageous)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
