We are currently seeking an E&I Package Manager to support our client based in Surrey on a 12 month contract basis with the possibility for further extensions. This will be primarily office based with little possibility for hybrid working - potentially one day per week from home - so candidate should be based within an easily commutable location. This is an outside IR35 contract role meaning Limited Company contractors can operate and a limited company rate of £70 p/h is available.

We are looking for an E&I Package Manager who possesses significant experience in electrical engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of major electrical packages for a significant Brownfield / Greenfield facility. The package management comprises brownfield aspects requiring interface engagement and OEM management for the longer-term site modification requirements and integration.
The successful candidate will be the focal point between company and client Project Management Teams, procurement, engineering and site teams including the OEMs. The packages include modifications to the existing power management system, existing 11kV switchgear and for new transformers, as well as other Electrical equipment such as 110kV switchgear, etc.
The successful candidate will be looking across those major packages to drive the multi-functional delivery, including integrating with the construction team on ROS dates, build sequence etc and facilitating stakeholder buy in. They will be supporting the engineering disciplines with a broad understanding of the scope,. They shall have a solid engineering background to facilitate technical issues resolution and shall have prior experience of working with major equipment suppliers, in roles of package engineer or package manager.
Experience of ICSS design will also be an advantage. Building strong working relationships with Client and suppliers will be critical.
