Commissioning Engineer – Gas Infrastructure Projects
📍 Location: UK-wide sites, with travel to Cheshire and/or Staffordshire offices
💼 Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday)
💰 Salary up to £47,000 per annum + company vehicle (for business and commuting use only)
Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a growing team delivering complex gas infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a hands-on, technically varied role ideal for an engineer who enjoys practical work on site as much as technical problem-solving and documentation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the pre-FAT, FAT, on-site commissioning and SAT stages, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
This is a development-focused opportunity offering genuine long-term progression for someone looking to build a career in the gas sector.
You’ll be based from our client’s offices with travel to customer sites across the UK.
Please note: The split between workshop and site work will vary depending on project demand. You may spend several months working solely at the Staffordshire workshop or on-site full time — flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.
