Electrical Site Supervisor

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: £50,000 – £58,000 per annum + car allowance & benefits

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Arrangement: Site based with flexibility

DATS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our client’s team in Greater Manchester. Our client is a leading UK engineering company delivering essential infrastructure and building services across the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, and water sectors. In this hands-on role, you will oversee turnkey electrical projects, supervise subcontractors, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. You’ll manage site activities confidently, maintaining high standards while contributing to the successful delivery of critical infrastructure works.

The Role

  • Supervise all electrical site activities alongside Construction Manager and Principal Electrical Engineer
  • Review and sign off subcontractor RAMS
  • Monitor quality and standards throughout the project, completing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and QA documentation
  • Oversee subcontractor progress, site coordination, and snagging
  • Support variation assessments and assist Quantity Surveyors with subcontractor applications
  • Liaise closely with other trades and project teams

About You

  • Proven experience supervising electrical works on turnkey or multi-disciplinary projects
  • Pharmaceutical, healthcare or other regulated sector experience preferred
  • Ability to review and assess electrical test certification
  • Proactive, client-focused and safety-driven
  • Strong people management skills for subcontractors

Qualifications required:

  • HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • AM2 Certification
  • City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 and 2394/2395
  • SMSTS certification
