As an Commissioning Engineer (Electrical / EC&I), you’ll play a key role in delivering essential services, ensuring safety and reliability at every stage. What You’ll Be Doing
- Testing and commissioning LV switchgear, cabling, and electrical systems (up to 1000V).
- Reading technical drawings and configuring protection devices for seamless integration.
- Preparing safety documentation (training provided), writing progress reports, and troubleshooting on-site.
- Ensuring all work meets project specifications and safety standards.
- Supporting inspection plans, training, and installation handovers.
- Working closely with other trades to deliver efficient commissioning.
- Overseeing FAT and SAT processes to maintain quality assurance.
- What We’re Looking For
- Proven E&I commissioning experience.
- Background in Power, Energy, or Gas Transmission.
- Hands-on expertise with LV Switchgear and MCCs.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent technical training.
- HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Qualified in Inspection & Testing (2391-52).
- Up to date with 18th Edition (2382-22).
- CSCS/ECS card holder.
- LV authorised and experienced.
- Desirable: CompEx EX01–EX04, SMSTS, First Aid.
