Description

Bid Coordinator – Warrington

 £30,000 per annum

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for a Bid Coordinator to join their team based at their Technology Office in Warrington. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, competitive tender submissions.

This role offers the chance to be part of a collaborative team environment, with occasional travel to other offices and sites if required.

The Role

As a Bid Coordinator, you will support the entire bid lifecycle—from expression of interest to submission and post-submission clarifications. You’ll liaise with various stakeholders across the business to gather and manage the necessary information and ensure that all documentation meets internal and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the full bid process, including expressions of interest, submissions, and clarifications.
  • Create and manage opportunities within internal systems.
  • Review enquiry documentation and flag missing or unclear information.
  • Prepare templates and ensure document consistency.
  • Update SharePoint and maintain proposal records in line with internal QA procedures.
  • Communicate with clients regarding bid progress.
  • Obtain quotations from third-party suppliers.
  • Support the bid team with documentation and proposal requirements.
  • Book in new orders and assist with post-bid follow-up.
  • Work with internal teams such as estimating, project management, engineering, procurement, and legal to gather relevant input.
  • Maintain databases and bid content libraries for future use.
  • Assist with prequalification documents and vendor questionnaires.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent coordination and organisational abilities.
  • High standard of written English with strong grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and SharePoint.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and calm under pressure.
  • Willingness to take part in reviews and training. A full UK driving licence is required.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a bid or proposals environment.
  • Knowledge of bid management tools and systems.

Why Apply?

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a dynamic, supportive environment. If you enjoy working across teams, have a passion for process and quality, and thrive under deadline-driven conditions, we’d love to hear from you.
