Job Title: Instrument Engineer – LNG FEED Project
Location: Leatherhead (Onsite – 5 days per week)
Rate: £50.00 per hour PAYE (excluding holiday pay and pension)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Contract Duration: 12+ months
Start Date: ASAP
We are urgently seeking an experienced Instrument Engineer to join our client’s team on a major LNG Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project. This is a long-term contract role offering stability and the opportunity to work on a high-profile international project.
Key Requirements:

Must have previous Aramco project experience

Minimum of 12 years' experience within consultant engineering, machinery manufacturing, or end-user environments

Strong background in gas processing or LNG projects

Proven track record in conceptual design, pre-FEED, study, or FEED phases

Experienced in producing early-phase I&C deliverables such as:

P&IDs
-
Instrument Lists
-
Instrument Specifications
-
Instrument Data Sheets
-

Familiarity with DCS, PLC, and SCADA process control systems

Knowledge of custody metering instrumentation standards

Competent in preparing budgetary requisitions and conducting bid evaluations

Working knowledge of IEC 61508 and IEC 61511, including development of Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS)

Proficient in creating I/O lists and specifying control system components

Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation system interfaces

Prior greenfield onshore project experience is essential
