Inspection Co-ordinator – 6-Month Contract (Outside IR35)
Location: Surrey (Hybrid – 3 Days Office / 2 Days Remote)
Rate: £55 per hour Ltd Co
Contract Type: Contract, Full-Time (40 hrs/week)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Inspection Co-ordinator to join a high-profile energy sector project based in Surrey. This role will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the Quality Management and Surveillance Program across supplier activities, ensuring all inspection-related deliverables meet project expectations.
Inspection Co-ordinator Key Responsibilities
- Act as the project focal point for all supplier inspection processes
- Develop and implement the project Inspection Plan and Program
- Define key inspection requirements and clarify scope within supplier packages
- Participate in kick-off meetings, lead pre-inspection meetings, and attend critical inspections
- Review supplier ITPs and confirm completeness of manufacturing data records
- Prepare and submit Look Ahead Schedules and Monthly Inspection Reports
- Liaise with client quality representatives as required
- Facilitate supplier performance evaluations
- Administer inspection resources and manage the close-out of all assignments
- Lead NCR investigations and perform root cause analysis on quality issues
- Undertake supplier surveys and audits where necessary
- Manage and coordinate 2nd-party inspection providers
- Promote a strong HSSE and quality culture both internally and externally
Inspection Co-ordinator Essential Requirements
- Strong background in quality assurance and inspection within the oil & gas industry
- Demonstrable experience managing supplier quality in an EPC environment
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to foster collaboration and work cross-functionally across disciplines
- Experience producing detailed inspection reports and tracking supplier performance
Inspection Co-ordinator Desirable Qualifications
- CSWIP/AWS, ASNT Level II, NACE Level II, API certifications
- ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and spend analytics
