Description

We are currently looking to support our client in the National Property and Relocation Business, based on the Wirral, with a requirement for an Accounts Assistant for a start in April 2024.

The position will be initially on a 6 week contract, but the client is looking to offer a longterm contract/permanent role to the right person. The position is a part-time Accounts Assistant, working 30 hours a week at £12.50 - £14.00 per hour. The client would prefer the 30 hours to be spread over Monday to Friday, working 9am to 3pm, however, flexibility to condense this into a 4 day week (30 hours) is available for the right candidate.

Beneficial Experience for an Accounts Assistant:

  • Experience with accounting software will be beneficial, with Xero accounting system preferred but not essential as training will be given.
  • Experience in an accounting role or department performing typical accounts assistant duties
  • Experience with day to day office admin, answering phones, post, copying, scanning, emailing etc.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and Database.
  • Experience in credit control will be beneficial.
  • Driving license will be beneficial but is not essential.
  • An AAT qualification will be beneficial
