We are recruiting for two experienced Project Managers to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering contractor delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK. With more than a century of engineering expertise, the organisation works across sectors including Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear, and Food & Beverage, providing design and build solutions for major infrastructure programmes.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering engineering projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they meet scope, cost, quality, and schedule targets.

You will act as the key point of contact for stakeholders while leading project teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the delivery of multiple engineering projects from design through to commissioning
  • Managing project programmes, budgets, forecasts, and reporting
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Coordinating engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure work meets technical and safety standards
  • Identifying project risks and opportunities and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Managing project changes and ensuring clear communication of progress
  • Promoting collaboration across project teams and partners
  • Driving continuous improvement through feedback and lessons learned

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced project professional with strong leadership and communication skills, ideally within electrical, controls, or utilities infrastructure projects.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience managing engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams from design through to commissioning
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of project finances
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project and Excel
  • Knowledge of electrical, control systems, or utilities infrastructure
  • Project management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent
  • HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • CSCS/ECS card and SMSTS/SSSTS (preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
