We are currently looking to support our client operating in the oil, gas and energy sector with a requirement for a Telecommunications Senior Technical Advisor be located in Saudi Arabia. Prospective candidates must be committed to working in Saudi Arabia as a local hire worker, and as such the role is not on a rotational basis but can be married status in terms of some of the assistance offered - including a competitive (local tax free) salary with local housing & transport.

Candidates must have Demonstrated leadership of a large team of telecom engineers and designers and experience in Conceptual, FEED, and Detailed Engineering of medium to large scale projects both Reimbursable as well as Lump Sum with 20 years' experience minimum.

Overall Summary
A Telecommunication Engineer with proven extensive experience in the design of Multi-systems security systems & Telecom systems such as Data, LAN, Structured Cabling System, Outside Plant Cabling System, Security Access Control System, Process & Security CCTV, In-plant paging system, Intrusion Detection System, UHF, VHF, TETRA, Aviation, Marine and Crane radio in the Oil & Gas, (Hydrocarbon), and Infrastructure industries in both Offshore and Onshore projects. Demonstrated leadership of a large team of telecom engineers and designers and experience in Conceptual, FEED, and Detailed Engineering of medium to large scale projects both Reimbursable as well as Lump Sum required. Minimum 20 years' experience is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
o Lead a team of 15 to 20 telecom engineers and designers
o Review and approve discipline work plans
o Review and approve telecom systems studies (e.g., TETRA, SECURITY)
o Review and approve man-hour estimates
o Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, including the Clients
o Responsible for design integrity of telecom scope, performance of assigned staff, on-schedule delivery of the work within budget.
o Delivers Saudization program through hiring, training, and development.
o Plans the project execution resources and revises the plan as necessary and assures adherence to the plan.
o Lead technical presentations to Clients and their representatives as required
o Serve as technical resource on all matters relating to Telecom engineering
o Serves as prime point of contact between the client and company project management.

Qualifications & Years of Experience:
Minimum Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication Engineering, and a minimum of 20 years in Oil & Gas industry, hydrocarbon, petroleum refinery, offshore, and infrastructure industries.
Key Skills & Technical Competencies:
o Expert knowledge & understanding of Design practices, Construction Practices and Procedures.
o Knowledge of HCIS, Saudi Aramco Standards and procedures will be an added advantage.
o Wide knowledge of codes and industry standards IEEE, NFPA, API, IEC, ANSI/NEMA.
o Experience in management of a 'Portfolio' of projects
o Must have excellent Time Management skill set
o Wide knowledge and must have excellent Technical skill set
