DATS are looking for an experienced man manager for the role of Team Leader Facilities Services .
This is to join an existing team who are embedded on their clients site supplying hard and soft facilities services . Their client is a large international pharmaceutical company based in the Cheshire / N Wales area.
Position Type: Contract 18 months + Or direct fixed term contract.
Salary: Equivalent to £25000-35000 depending on experience.

What does the job involve?
The Team leader will report directly to the Facilities Manager, work in partnership with the Facilities Supervisor and be responsible for overseeing the day to day work of circa 6 personnel on site, together with the necessary sub-contractors to site
These 6 are responsible for ;
1/ Technical Services which will include the routine maintenance of mechanical and electrical facilities which could range from HVAC systems to steam boilers etc (additional training will be provided)
2/ The "Soft " services are mostly orientated towards Laboratory Services which can include the cleaning of laboratory equipment to the restocking of laboratory equipment and the reordering of consumables etc.
3/ General facilities maintenance, painting, housekeeping, landscaping etc..
The Team leader will sit under the Site Manager and adjacent to the Supervisor and be directly responsible for the day to day activity of the 6 reports.
He will maintain direction and output, encouraging progress beyond the routine to add value to all aspects of the operations. The work will be partly planned and equally reactive – as is the need of the business.
What skills and experience do you need?
The candidate must have demonstrable experience in supervising the day to day ,hour to hour work of staff. They will need to have people leading capabilities. This is a leading feature of the position.
They will also require a technical M & E / Facilities background. This ideally would come from a food / medical/ scientific / pharmaceutical industries but other back grounds will be considered if they have good team leader capabilities.
They will need to understand the process required in the issuing of work permits and H & S procedures on site.
What are the pay and benefits?
Works are generally executed over a 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday but occasional overtime on a working day and weekends is to be expected.
Attendance on a call out rota may also be required 1 week in 4 / 5.
Salary in the range £25-35 K depending on experience. This is either an 18 month contract or a direct fix term contract with our client. There is potential this will be extended after Dec 2021.
