We are currently looking to support our client – a civil/structural and buildings consultancy specialist with a requirement for a structural technician proficient in AutoCAD software for a permanent staff role based in an office in Warrington.

 

Priority is to employ a technician for the Warrington office. Someone who is very comfortable using AutoCAD and ideally knows about buildings and construction or at least how a building is put together. He/she will work closely with teams in offices in London and Dubai to produce design packages. He/she will be taught how to use a structural design package to design and schedule foundations themselves. Once a job is on site, they will also deal with site queries and attend sites as required and eventually take the lead in managing the jobs on site.

 

Candidates should possess 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role and have good AutoCAD and general computer skills. Further career progression into engineering roles and management responsibilities will be available in what is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to develop their career and skills.
