We’re looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join us on a permanent basis based in Warrington town centre. Applications from both experienced and junior level recruitment candidates are welcomed with competitive salaries and hybrid working arrangements available.

What does the job involve?

  • Provide a high-quality recruitment service to both existing and new candidates and clients.
  • Achieve sales and recruitment financial targets through personal delivery and achievement of agreed key performance indicators
  • Generate sales leads and identify opportunities
  • Develop candidate relationships
  • Record all information and identify sales prospects
  • Source candidate CVs from job boards
  • Communicate effectively with potential candidates
  • Complete initial telephone screening interview with candidates matching their experience to current vacancies
  • Take incoming calls from candidates and clients (attention to detail imperative)
  • Contact candidates to arrange interviews
  • Attend client visits to build relationships
  • Actively researching the industry to make contact with new clients and offer our service
  • Sending and following up client references
  • Preparation of adverts for various job sites
  • Manage advert response effectively to identify suitable applicants and qualify them against the job role
  • Daily accurate database population
  • Contribute to daily/weekly meetings

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Experience of recruitment procedures (preferred)
  • Ability to assess and prepare job descriptions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Good use of IT / Microsoft packages and CRM software
  • Accurate numeracy
  • Hard working and proactive approach - willing to learn/ train
  • Be results focussed
  • Follow and implement work rules and instructions
  • Maintain a ‘can-do’ approach to tasks
  • Accept constructive criticism from board of directors and colleagues
  • Function as a team player
