We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join an established engineering & installation company operating in the manufacturing sector on a 6 month contract basis in central Yorkshire.
What does the job involve?
· Managing installation of mechanical equipment and pipework within a manufacturing environment.
· Work closely with the customer team to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and on time.
· Overseeing contractors doing the installation work.
· Attend site meetings with customer and subcontractor teams.
What skills and experience do you need?
· HNC/HND qualified in mechanical engineering.
· 5+ years’ experience in managing mechanical / piping related installation work.
· Capable of liaising with a variety of people from shopfloor level up to senior management.
· Ability to organise work well for a team of engineers.
