We’re looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join an established chemicals manufacturer to support design and engineering projects across their production site.



What does the job involve?

  • Supervision, installation and design of projects on a chemical manufacturing site.
  • Input on mechanical design of projects and plant modifications and developing of project budgets.
  • Installation of projects and plant modifications, including SHE, planning & budget control.
  • Maintain key relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Manage small works needed for the site.
  • Support equipment standardisation on site.
  • Provide input to site wide infrastructure strategies for mechanical plant.



What skills and experience do you need?

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Mechanical Project Engineer role.
  • Degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience of mechanical plant design.
  • Previous experience in managing and supervising contractors on site.
