We’re looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join an established chemicals manufacturer to support design and engineering projects across their production site.
What does the job involve?
- Supervision, installation and design of projects on a chemical manufacturing site.
- Input on mechanical design of projects and plant modifications and developing of project budgets.
- Installation of projects and plant modifications, including SHE, planning & budget control.
- Maintain key relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Manage small works needed for the site.
- Support equipment standardisation on site.
- Provide input to site wide infrastructure strategies for mechanical plant.
What skills and experience do you need?
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Mechanical Project Engineer role.
- Degree or HNC in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience of mechanical plant design.
- Previous experience in managing and supervising contractors on site.
