We are looking to support our client in the oil and gas sector based in Surrey with a requirement for a Control Systems Engineer. This will operate on a contract basis with an anticipated duration of 8 months starting asap. Subject to an IR35 status assessment Limited Company operators will be able to operate (outside IR35). Candidates MUST be able to demonstrate good experience in designing SCD (System control diagrams) and in working using Norsok standards I-005, IEC 63131

The ideal candidate shall be able to demonstrate involvement in the following areas of Control Systems.
Candidates MUST be able to demonstrate good experience in designing SCD (System control diagrams) and in working using Norsok standards I-005, IEC 63131
Responsibilities may include :
o Review Piping & Instrument Diagrams and Logic Diagrams for control and instrumentation requirements.
o SCD production for Process, HVAC and PMS (power management systems) with inputs from Cause and Effect.
o Support automation to the disciplines, for their production of functional descriptions, control narratives etc.
o Designing solutions according to our client's requirements
