We are currently looking to support our client operating in the legal sector based in Birkenhead with a requirement for a Completions Assistant. This will be on a full time permanent staff basis beginning in July 2021. Some flexibility to work from home at times will be available and will be discussed with interested candidates - but this is not an entirely remote role Candidates should have at least 2 years' experience within a completions assistant role.
Main purpose of role:
To provide support to the Sale & Purchase (S&P) teams by preparing files for completion and undertaking post-completion work..
Salary £16,000.00 to £20,000.00 depending upon experience.
Working in a team of consisting of a Completion Team Manager and three other Completion Assistants.
Undertake completion and post-completion elements of the conveyancing process. In particular (non-exhaustive list);
? Preparation of Accounts pack for files due to complete.
? Preparation of completion letters.
? Submit OS1 and K16 searches.
? Submit AP1/FR1’s to HMLR.
? Deal with replies to HMLR requisitions.
? Process completion of registrations received from HMLR.
? Schedule and close purchase files.
? Deal with confirmation of discharge on sale files.
? Close and archive sale files.
? Monitor team file lists for OS1 and cancellation expiry dates.
? Act honestly and diligently and at all times abide by the relevant professional codes of conduct that may from time to time be in force
Hours of work: 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday and other hours as may be needed to stay up to date with workload. Flexible hours and working from home options also available to be discussed at interview. Holiday entitlement: Four weeks paid holiday per year [exclusive of bank holidays
