Having used agencies himself in the past, Dave knew all too well about aspects that could be frustrating and areas that could be improved upon from a candidate's perspective, so it was this, plus a skill for dealing with people, that attracted him to recruitment.

"I wanted to work in a busy industry with endless possibilities and recruitment ticked the boxes for me!"

David's favourite parts of the role are using his communication skills to build close relationships with clients and candidates alike. He's passionate about working hard on areas where other agencies may fail - maintaining contact, updating people with news and ultimately changing people's lives with placements.

Dave was attracted specifically to DATS because of a friendly and enthusiastic team and opportunities to develop and expand.

A little more about me...

David's proud to have a achieved a BA(Hons) in English and Communication Studies. He also has a Primary PGCE. He further holds qualifications in Recruitment Practice and HR & Employment Law.

He occasionally likes to challenge himself with events such as Tough Mudder and The Three Peaks Challenge - perhaps to burn off some calories because he also describes himself as a "sucker for a Chinese takeaway". A keen performer, Dave can also be found singing in a band at weekends and is known as "Dancefloor" to his friends.
