About the Role
We are seeking Process Engineers at both Junior and Senior levels to support a growing portfolio of engineering projects across a range of industrial sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering business delivering projects from concept and FEED stages through to detailed design, commissioning and operational support.
Applications are welcomed from engineers with experience in chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, water, energy or other process industries.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

Support projects through FEED, detailed design and commissioning phases

Produce User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Functional Design Specifications (FDS)

Undertake conceptual process design activities
-
Complete process calculations including:
-
Thermal calculations
-
Relief system calculations
-
Pump sizing and hydraulic calculations
-
Line sizing calculations
-

Prepare equipment datasheets and technical specifications
-
Develop tank and vessel specifications
-
Participate in HAZOP studies and process safety reviews
-
Support Control & Equipment (C&E) documentation development
-
Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver project objectives

Provide technical support during installation, commissioning and start-up activities
About You
We are interested in hearing from both junior and senior process engineers who have a strong engineering foundation and a desire to contribute to complex engineering projects.
You may have experience in:

Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline

Process design within industrial or manufacturing environments

FEED and detailed design project delivery
-
Process calculations and equipment sizing
-
P&ID development and review
-
HAZOP participation or leadership
Desirable Experience
-
Chemicals or Petrochemical industry experience

DSEAR knowledge
-
Process Safety Management experience
-
Chartered status or progress towards professional registration
-
Experience leading design reviews and HAZOP workshops
