We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer (LV) to join a leading multidisciplinary engineering and infrastructure business delivering projects across the water, power & energy, pharmaceutical, nuclear, and food & beverage sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering team working on complex and technically challenging projects, supporting the delivery of safe, reliable and innovative LV solutions across critical infrastructure environments.
The Role
As an Electrical Design Engineer (LV), you will play a key role in delivering and supporting LV design activities across a range of projects. You will provide technical guidance, collaborate with project teams, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
You will also support and mentor junior engineers while contributing to the successful delivery of site migration and upgrade projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and review LV electrical designs, schematics and calculations
- Support LV Design Engineers with technical guidance and problem solving
- Work closely with Project Managers and Project Leads to monitor project progress
- Attend client sites and produce compliance reports for existing LV assemblies
- Support complex site migration projects, helping minimise operational downtime
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards, client specifications and compliance requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in LV electrical design
- Strong technical knowledge of LV assemblies and electrical systems
- Experience delivering safe, reliable and compliant design solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Client-focused approach with practical engineering mindset
