This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong quality documentation and project coordination experience to join a well-established engineering environment working on high-profile projects with stringent quality and compliance standards.

The Role

You will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining project quality documentation, records and contractual deliverables in line with project specifications, client requirements and agreed submission schedules.

The position will play a key role in ensuring quality documentation is accurate, traceable, correctly controlled and submitted on time, while also supporting environmental reporting and continuous improvement activities across projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project quality deliverables and documentation registers
  • Coordinate and maintain Manufacturing Inspection & Test Plans (MITPs/ITPs)
  • Compile and control inspection and test documentation
  • Prepare and collate material certification and traceability records
  • Coordinate Operating & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and handover documentation
  • Compile final quality dossiers, MDRs and handover packs
  • Manage document control activities including revisions, transmittals and approvals
  • Attend internal and client project meetings and drive actions through to completion
  • Support NCR closure, audits and compliance activities
  • Assist with environmental reporting, including embodied carbon and supporting evidence
  • Identify opportunities for quality, process and environmental improvements

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience managing quality documentation and project deliverables within engineering, manufacturing or infrastructure environments
  • Experience working with MITPs/ITPs and quality records
  • Strong understanding of document control and revision management
  • Experience producing handover documentation and O&M manuals
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems
  • Awareness of environmental reporting and continuous improvement principles

Desirable

  • Previous experience supporting HS2 or other major infrastructure projects
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 environments
  • Internal auditing experience or qualifications
  • Experience using client document portals and formal submission systems
  • Full UK driving licence

Due to the nature of the projects involved, applicants must be British Nationals in order to meet security clearance requirements.

If you are detail-oriented, highly organised and experienced in managing quality documentation within complex engineering projects, we would like to hear from you.

Please note: This is a UK permanent role, and candidates will require existing eligibility to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
