We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / E&I Package Manager to support our client on a major greenfield development project, with additional brownfield scope requiring interface coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong electrical professional to lead the delivery of key electrical packages on a significant facility project.

The Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery of major electrical equipment packages for a large-scale 'normally unattended' greenfield facility. You will act as the focal point between the Client’s Project Management Team (PMT) and the internal PMT, procurement, and engineering teams, ensuring effective coordination across all project phases.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the delivery of major electrical packages, including VFD-driven compressors and key electrical equipment such as 110kV switchgear, transformers, VSDs, and associated systems
  • Driving the multi-functional delivery of RFQ processes across engineering, procurement, and construction teams
  • Coordinating closely with construction teams on ROS dates, build sequencing, and delivery planning
  • Supporting engineering disciplines with a broad technical understanding of project scope
  • Resolving technical issues and facilitating stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle
  • Managing supplier relationships and ensuring effective engagement with key equipment vendors
  • Supporting interface management across greenfield and brownfield project elements

About You

We are looking for a technically capable and commercially aware professional with a strong background in electrical engineering and package delivery.

You will ideally have:

  • Significant experience in Electrical Engineering within major projects
  • Proven experience working as a Package Engineer, Package Manager, or Project Manager on major equipment packages
  • Experience managing large electrical equipment packages such as switchgear, transformers, and VFD/VSD systems
  • Strong understanding of RFQ processes and supplier engagement
  • Experience working with major equipment suppliers
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with ICSS design (desirable)
  • Ability to manage complex technical interfaces across multi-disciplinary teams
