We are supporting our client based in Warrington working in the water sector with a requirement for an EC&I Designer on a full time, permanent staff basis. Candidates will ideally be based in the Greater Manchester / Cheshire regions with a 3 days office, 2 days from home rota available after the initial probationary period. Salaries are expected to be within the window of 50-60K per annum based on prior experience. Duties:
- Day to day you'll produce reports on the scope of works, concept design and detailed designs for electrical, control & instrumentation as well as completing site surveys of existing sites where required.
- You'll produce single line diagrams, block cable diagrams, electrical schematics and loop diagrams etc.
- We'll need you to produce documentation in accordance with defined standards / quality requirements along with handing sizing and modelling calculations for electrical OM cables.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a relevant design role including successful delivery of electrical installation designs within projects for the pharmaceutical sector
- HNC or Degree level education in technical engineering related subject
- A technical engineering design background with predominantly Utility – clean and wastewater experience
- Familiarity with Utility industry standard WIMES
- Experience in AutoCAD software, Trimble (Amtech) Pro Design Suite or Electrical OM Cable Sizing Software
