Technical Advisor – Structural / Naval Architect / Hull Engineer
Location: Leatherhead (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 remote)
Rate: £60 per hour Ltd (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 months

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Advisor – Structural / Naval Architect / Hull Engineer to support offshore engineering projects involving FPSO hull structures. This is an excellent opportunity to join a technically challenging environment working on complex offshore structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform global and partial structural analysis of FPSO hull structures
- Design scantlings, bulkheads, living quarters, and topside module support stools
- Deliver accurate, high-quality engineering outputs within project schedules
- Apply relevant industry standards and codes to ensure compliance
- Support engineering decisions with strong technical judgement and practical experience
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in offshore structural, naval architecture, or hull engineering
- Proven experience working on FPSO hull structures, particularly in harsh water environments
- Strong working knowledge of SESAM Genie
- Experience using Nauticus Hull
- Thorough knowledge of DNV Rules and standards and NORSOK codes
- Ability to deliver technically sound solutions with minimal supervision
Desirable Experience
- Experience undertaking stochastic fatigue analysis to DNV standards
- Recent experience working on FPSO projects within major offshore programmes
