This role gives you the chance to work across multiple projects, influence commercial decisions, and support leadership in shaping strategy for a range of engineering and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide commercial guidance across projects, ensuring cash flow, strong revenue, and smooth contract management.
- Review and negotiate contracts, supporting fair agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Work with procurement, support project managers, and contribute to estimating, risk reviews, and change control.
- Lead commercial negotiations, guide the bidding process, and offer practical advice on project issues.
- Develop commercial talent, maintain engagement with Quantity Surveyors, and ensure clear communication across live projects.
- Manage insurance and bonding requirements, prepare monthly commercial reporting, and ensure governance and policies are followed.
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge of the M&E or wider engineering industry.
- Confident communicator, able to engage at all levels.
- Customer-focused, collaborative, and positive approach.
- Strong IT skills suitable for a modern working environment.
- Relevant degree and/or professional qualifications; chartered status preferred but not essential.
