DATS Engineering Solutions is looking for a Quality Manager to join a small, hands-on engineering laboratory providing specialist testing services across aerospace, construction, and other industries. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled professional to take ownership of quality processes while supporting the Technical Manager.
The Role: As Quality Manager, you’ll:
- Maintain and oversee ISO 17025 and other Quality Management Systems
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits, including UKAS
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and perform basic electrical repairs
- Deputise for the Technical Manager, managing day-to-day operations and staff
- Be a flexible problem-solver in a small, agile team environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic fault-finding and electrical systems
- Familiarity with ASTM and ISO standards
- Auditing experience (internal or external)
- A flexible, proactive, and technically confident individual
