Structural Engineer – ANSYS FEA Specialist (Contract)
Location: London (Hybrid – ideally 2 days per week in the office, remote considered)
Contract Length: 6 months
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently supporting an engineering consultancy based in Central London, who are looking to engage an experienced Structural Engineer with strong ANSYS FEA capability on an initial 6-month contract.
This role will suit someone with a solid background in finite element analysis, particularly within offshore oil & gas structures.
Key requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience using ANSYS for FEM/FEA analysis
- Proven experience working with stiffened plate structures
- Good working knowledge of offshore Oil & Gas classification rules
- Strong structural engineering background ANSYS experience is mandatory
Working arrangement:
- Ideally 2 days per week in the London office
- Remote working may be considered for candidates with particularly strong and relevant experience
