Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter seeking your next opportunity? Join a prestigious industrial manufacturing consultancy working on a high profile site in Wrexham, specialising in automation engineering. This is an urgent role on a high profile installation project requiring prompt starters and likely running until late February 2026. As this is an urgent role with upcoming completion deadlines, work will be continuing over the Christmas period (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day) so candidates should be available and willing to work through the holidays - including at weekends where required. Night shifts are also available for willing candidates - paid at double time,

The Role:

As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll play a key role in supporting industrial manufacturing projects, applying your technical expertise in a hands-on environment. You’ll be responsible for precision fitting and fabrication, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of work to the highest standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in mechanical fitting, ideally with a strong background in fabrication. Candidates should be true tradespeople - ideally with a full apprenticeship behind them

  • Hard workers with a strong sense of reliability and professionalism, who improve the standards of others working around them. Candidates who look to progress and better themselves with additional courses under their belts - e.g. confined space training, SSSTS courses 
  • Valid Fork Lift Truck licence

  • Experience in rigging or as a slinger/banksman

  • Strong attention to detail, and commitment to quality and safety
