Construction Delivery Manager

Greater Manchester | £55,000 – £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience) | Permanent

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Delivery Manager to join a growing and technically focused organisation delivering complex infrastructure and construction projects across the UK. This role offers scope to manage work packages independently while supporting wider project delivery, making a tangible impact across high-profile programmes.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage smaller projects independently, coordinate sub-contract packages, monitor progress and workmanship, and liaise with multidisciplinary teams to maintain smooth operations.

Key responsibilities 
• Supporting construction programmes and ensuring timely delivery of projects
• Procuring subcontract work packages and materials in line with project requirements
• Setting and maintaining high standards of workmanship, including monitoring snags and creating inspection and test plans (ITPs)
• Coordinating with all disciplines to ensure works are accurately completed
• Contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency across projects

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Delivery or GreaterWork Package Manager, Project Engineer, or in a similar role
• Expertise in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Mechanical or Electrical
• CSCS card holder and a minimum of an HNC in a related field
• Ability to manage smaller projects independently and establish strong working relationships
• Experience within pharmaceutical or cleanroom environments advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and a commitment to health and safety
• Willingness to travel as required
