About the Role
We are looking for two experienced Senior Electrical Designers to join our client’s team in the North West. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering essential infrastructure projects while developing your expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Working across a variety of projects, you will be involved from concept through to detailed design, producing reports, scopes of work, layouts, and drawings. You’ll contribute to projects that are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include creating design drawings for power, lighting, and fire safety systems, preparing electrical O&M models, and working closely with client engineers to ensure smooth delivery. This is a hybrid role, with three days per week on site following the probation period.
What You’ll Need
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical design, ideally within pharmaceutical projects
• HNC or degree in engineering (preferred)
• Professional membership desirable
• Strong knowledge of LV distribution, lighting, fire safety, security, and cabling systems
• Understanding of CDM 2015 and UK pharmaceutical construction projects
• Skilled in producing 2D/3D designs, layouts, and routing diagrams
• Proficiency in AutoCAD LT, Relux/Dialux, Trimble, and Navisworks (Revit advantageous)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to obtain HORUS security clearance
