At DATS, we’re working on behalf of our client - a growing serviced accommodation provider with 26 years of proud history - to find an enthusiastic, proactive Logistics Coordinator / Driver to join their team.
You’ll play a key role in delivering and setting up high-quality furnishing packages in serviced accommodation properties across the UK, ensuring guests have a welcoming and comfortable environment from day one. If you’re practical, organised, and enjoy being on the move while taking pride in your work, this could be the role for you.
This is a permanent staff, full time role with a need for flexibility given the travelling and UK destinations involved, however applicatins on a part time basis will also be considered for the right candidates. Some office based responsbilitiies will also be included - working out of their Wirral office - handling stock management and job plannng requirements.
This role will certainly suit someone happy to travel, perhaps with experience in the logistics sector, who is looking for something with more than just driving as part of the role. It might suit semi-retired workers with logistics experience, property/tenancy roles, or previous armed forces / emergency services workers with a knowledge of logistis / stock control.
Logistics Coordinator / Driver - What you’ll be doing:
- Driving a company vehicle safely to properties across the UK.
- Delivering soft furnishings and installing in premises with the occasional furniture assembly (two person jobs).
- Liaising with operations and design teams to ensure everything is set up to the right standard.
- Keeping the delivery vehicle clean and organised.
- Performing minor fixes and on-site furniture assembly as needed.
- Following health and safety procedures during transport and setup.
- Providing a professional, courteous service on-site.
- Completing delivery records and obtaining necessary confirmations.
- Office based prep and stock management duties
Logistics Coordinator / Driver - What we’re looking for:
- Full UK driving licence (manual preferred).
- Previous experience in delivery, stock control, logistics or furniture assembly roles.
- Comfortable with manual handling and using basic tools.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and layout plans accurately.
- Clear communication and a professional approach.
