Document Controller – 6-Month Fixed Term Contract (PAYE, North West)

We’re looking for an experienced Document Controller to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting major infrastructure projects in the North West.

This is a great opportunity to bring your expertise to a collaborative team, helping ensure smooth project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, quality, and organisation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting project teams on-site, ensuring compliance with security requirements (HORUS check required).

  • Managing complex project documentation using systems such as 4Project or SharePoint.

  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.

  • Tracking vendor documentation and maintaining accurate records.

  • Assisting with the preparation of O&M manuals and project handover documents.

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to keep projects on track, on time, and to budget.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience managing documentation on UK construction projects.

  • Confidence using document control systems (e.g. 4Project, SharePoint).

  • Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.

  • Understanding of design workflows and project documentation.

  • Knowledge of O&M manuals is a plus.

  • Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
