Electrical Installation Inspection & Testing Lead
📍 Location: Stone, Staffordshire
🕒 Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:30pm, Friday 7:30am–2:00pm
💰 Salary: £47,840 per annum
📅 Contract: Full-time, Permanent
🚗 Travel: Ad hoc and infrequent (occasional overnight stays may be required)
Are you a qualified Electrician with a passion for quality and compliance? We’re recruiting for an Electrical Installation Inspection & Testing Lead to join a well-established engineering team based in Stone. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of inspection and testing activities across a range of industrial projects.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and complete electrical, instrumentation, and hazardous area testing documentation
- Conduct project installation inspections, pre-testing, and pre-commissioning
- Identify and resolve issues, offering guidance to junior team members
- Collaborate with Engineering and Project teams on drawings and documentation
- Manage lock-out/tag-out procedures as required
📋 Additional Duties:
- Work in line with ISO 9001 standards
- Support the wider Electrical and Mechanical teams
- Contribute to the smooth running of the Production Team
🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully qualified Electrician with completed apprenticeship
- Industrial experience essential
- C&G Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Electrical Installations (2365)
- C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (2382)
- C&G Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations (2391)
- CompEx Ex01–Ex04 (desirable – training can be provided)
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
