Are you an experienced Service & Commissioning Engineer looking for a stable, long-term role with a leading UK solutions provider supporting the natural gas, petrochemical, biomethane, and decarbonisation sectors? We are seeking a Service & Commissioning Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) to join our client’s expanding team, delivering high-quality commissioning, service, and maintenance support across the UK and Ireland.
About the Service & Commissioning Engineer role: As a Service & Commissioning Engineer, your time will be split between our modern, custom-built workshop in Staffordshire and customer sites across the UK and Ireland. This will not always be a 50:50 split; you may spend extended periods in the workshop or on-site, depending on project needs. You must be comfortable being away up to five days a week when required for site work while also able to commute daily to the Stone office for workshop-based work.
Workshop activities will include system testing, pre-commissioning, and client demonstrations, while site activities will include commissioning, decommissioning, and supporting the service and maintenance team. Travel and overnight stays are typically four to five nights per week, with participation in the on-call rota approximately one week in three. You will always return home for weekends.

What we are looking for in a Service & Commissioning Engineer:
HNC/HND in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline) At least five years’ experience commissioning and/or servicing equipment on client sites At least two years working independently on-site Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings Full, clean driving licence
