We’re hiring a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a leading engineering site known for delivering cutting-edge wireline systems and wellhead pressure control equipment. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract, offering a rare opportunity to be part of a globally connected team working on high-specification, technically complex equipment.
You’ll play a key role in designing bespoke hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems, collaborating across multiple project phases—from early-stage proposals to on-site commissioning. What You’ll Be Doing

Designing innovative, customer-focused electrical systems using advanced CAE tools

Leading design projects end-to-end, including cost estimates, testing, and documentation

Providing technical support to internal teams and global clients—including occasional on-site visits

Ensuring all work complies with relevant standards and supports operational excellence
What We’re Looking For

Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering

Strong background in electrical design, ideally within oil & gas or a related sector

Proficiency in CAE tools and familiarity with industry documentation standards

In-depth knowledge of engineering regulations and compliance requirements
It Would Be Great If You Also Have

Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical systems

Understanding of manufacturing technologies and design-for-manufacture principles

Previous exposure to international, cross-functional project teams
