Our client based in Surrey requires a Senior Instrument Designer to work on an LNG FEED Project for an initial 6 month contract role starting as soon as possible. Further extensions may well be possible.
The role will be full time and office based in Surrey but with the flexibility to allow up to 2 days per week (maximum) to be worked from home/remotely. Limited company contractors will be able to operate as the role has been determined outside of IR35. Rates have not been confirmed but are believed to be in the region of £50 per hour.

Job Description
This role involves preparing various Instrumentation and Telecommunication engineering deliverables, such as block diagrams, location layouts, cable routing layouts, material takeoff, bill of materials, control room, and rack room layouts.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Proficient in 3D drafting software packages, specifically SmartPlant 3D.
Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, such as Electrical and Piping, to provide instrumentation and telecom inputs.
Ensure the quality of work within the group and supervise the Designer(s) reporting to you.
Adhere to company and project standards, procedures, and specifications.
Experience in coordinating with high-value Engineering Centres.
3D modelling experience and the ability to extract drawings from 3D models are advantageous.
