Description

We are currently looking to support our client in the oil and gas sector with a requirement for an Electrical Package Engineer to work on an advanced plastics recycling project. This will be to start as soon as possible on initial 12 month contract with the possibility of further extensions. This will be based out of a Surrey office but with a hybrid working arrangement permitted, allowing 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office. Limited Company operators will be able to operate as the role has been determined outside of IR35.

Job Description

Principal Electrical Package Engineer with demonstrable experience of managing substation and switchgear package vendors through EPC. Their experience shall include designs for onshore electrical distribution power systems. The work will include package management of switchgear vendors and building vendors as well as the development of SLDs / load lists, sizing HV equipment including large frequency convertors,  UPS systems, development of philosophies, specifications and datasheets. They will be working as part of a team supporting the lead engineer.
