Description

We are currently looking to support our client – a leading UK solutions provider operating across the natural gas, petrochemical, biomethane and decarbonisation sectors.

 

They are looking for a Service & Commissioning Engineer – qualified in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering - to join their team on a permanent staff basis. This will be based out of their custom built, modern workshop facility in Staffordshire – however the role will involve regular and frequent travel across the UK to visit client sites. This will be a full-time, standard hours role in general working Monday-Friday 8am – 4.30pm, however an on call rota will apply for this role requiring approximately 1-in-4 weeks on call.

 

The salary banding for this Service & Commissioning Engineer role is £35,000 to £45,000 -  based on an applicant’s Skills, Training and Competence. Service & Commissioning Engineer - Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of commissioning and / or servicing equipment on client sites.
  • 2 years’ experience working independently i.e. without local oversight management.
  • HNC / HND in either Electrical / Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or a related subject.
  • Ability to understand and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Full, clean driving licence
