Description

We’re looking for a talented Control & Instrumention Engineer to join our client's company based in West Lancashire on a permanent staff basis.

 

What does the job involve?

As a Control & Instrument Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in providing a total project engineering service for capital projects worldwide. Responsibilities include liaising with other engineering disciplines, managing full system designs, preparing design deliverables, managing technical aspects of procurement, overseeing onsite installation, and providing technical support post-installation.

 

What skills and experience?

  • Experience in DCS Design and Instrument Specification
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and detailed design
  • Knowledge of hazardous areas and on-site commissioning
  • Ability to conduct Factory Acceptance Testing and interpret P&ID's
  • Advantageous skills include Eurotherm DCS, GE iFix SCADA Software, control panel design, PLC programming, and troubleshooting of PLC & SCADA software

What is the pay for a Control & Instrument Engineer?

  • Competitive salary depending upon experience
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
