Job Vacancy: Senior/Principal Project Manager

Senior/Principal Project Manager required for a new office in Solihull. A very attractive salary plus benefits will be offered to the right candidate. (Salary is doe)

To be successful in one of these roles, you will have either post-graduate project management qualifications or hands-on experience of managing projects to schedule; budget and quality.

A worldwide team of professionals involved in designing, managing and implementing leading edge programmes and projects in the water, environmental and energy sectors currently have an opportunity for Project Managers to join their new office in Solihull. They are seeking experienced projects managers at a Senior to Principal level.

For my client Project Management is a mission critical role in delivering their business and sustaining growth throughout their operations. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing a wide variety of project work within their environmental, water, wastewater, energy and business solutions groups, driving excellent client service and coaching the development of their project staff in a business unit environment.

Project Management has a clearly defined career path supported by both in-house training and external training at all levels - they take care to provide an environment for their Project Managers to be successful, working within a Global Project Delivery Framework that includes tools and practices necessary to perform the role.

Key tasks include;

* Ensure that the project is delivered to the Client on time and to a high standard
* Meet or exceed budgeted financial performance goals. These goals are collaboratively set between the Business Unit Leader, Senior Project Manager and the Project Manager before commencement of each project
* Adherence to the Global Project Delivery Framework and all Operational policies and procedures
* Build, maintain and manage strong client relationships
* Mentor and develop project staff to ensure continuous learning and development


To be successful in one of these roles, you will have either post-graduate project management qualifications or hands-on experience of managing projects to schedule; budget and quality. In addition to these specific project management skills, candidates should be team players with intuitive coaching skills to develop their team members, have a strong client service focus and excellent communication skills.
