Job Vacancy: Production Engineer

PRODUCTION ENGINEER
£22K - £27K PLUS COMPANY BONUS AND EXCELLENT PACKAGE

The company is one of UK's leading manufacturers of Renewable energy products. It's blade pitch control and direct drive turbine design has established it as a Market leader.

Ideally you will possess a B Eng or HNC in Engineering and have the technical ability to have a major effect on production

Your duties will include:

Project managing the installation of new machinery and equipment.
Managing the introduction of new products.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure the right product, price and delivery.
Implementing cost saving exercises.
Co-ordinating set-up time reduction projects.
Produce process stage drawings, flow charts and control plans.
Developing costs & routings for new items and ensure integrity of costs and control change for existing items

Identifying the need for and control capital projects through specification and design to full commissioning and ensure specifications are met.

Working closely as a link between Product Development and Production on all new modification and product developments to ensure they are fully optimised and comply with current H&S legislation.

Defining routings and establishing production times and remove inconsistencies through improvements to the system

Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives eg 5S, SMED, Poka Yoke, OEE, process improvement teams
