Team leader for the in house Permitting Team - perm - based in Warrington
The role will include the co-ordination of ongoing and new Permitting Projects ensuring sufficient resources are available and target deadlines are met.
We have a requirement for a Team leader for the in house Permitting Team of a client in Warrington.
My client is part of a worldwide team involved in designing, managing and implementing leading edge programmes and projects in the water, environmental and energy sectors.
The role will include the co-ordination of ongoing and new Permitting Projects ensuring sufficient resources are available and target deadlines are met. They will also be involved in client liaison for new and existing projects and development of new business opportunities.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for ensuring sufficient resources are available and target deadlines are met
* Client Liaison ensuring clients expectations are met.
* Managing NBE based projects
* Assisting relevant third party project managers on wider projects for my client.
To be successful in this role you will be educated to BSc / MSc level in an Environmental based subject. You will have experience of managing projects, work programmes and managing resources and demonstrate knowledge of EP / PPC Permit Application and Variation processes for a number of industry sectors.
Your experience of EP / PPC related projects, will include the compliance with Permit requirements, improvement programmes and justification of BAT. An understanding of Environmental Management Systems or similar systems would also be advantageous along with demonstrating experience of dealing with Regulators.
