Halton Tourism Business Forum and Halton Chamber of Commerce joined together for the first time to reward those that work in the tourism and business.
The winners were announced at the Halton Business and Tourism Awards held on 27th February 2009, at the De Vere Daresbury Park Hotel, Daresbury.
Stephen Nickson, Chairman of Halton Chamber of Commerce and Managing Director of DATS said "we have good cause to celebrate as we recognise our great people and outstanding achievements in Halton. An important part of the local economy is seeing new businesses start up and flourish. We have companies that are being recognised for the great work they do in exporting throughout the world".

Exporter of the Year - Rockwood Additives Limited
1st Tuesday Networker of the Year - Merseyside Printing - John Dagnall
