Job Vacancy: E&I Construction Engineer
Our client requires an E&I Construction Engineer to join their existing team working on oil & gas projects based in Cheshire on a contract basis.
Duties
A construction development engineer accountable for specification and definition of the construction workscopes.
Job carding, preparation of work packs, development of execution plans, method statements and risk assessments, co-ordination of interdisciplinary interfaces and materials, reporting at all levels, constructability input, change control management.
Responsible for definitions of the construction workscope associated with execution of the change proposals and minor modifications.
This will include job carding, preparation of workpacks, preparation of work plans & method statements, development of risk assessments, provision of constructability input to design, take off and co-ordinations of material movements, identification/mobilisation specialist services and equipment, reporting of progress, resolution of technical queries, liaison with offshore construction crew.
Experience and background
HNC Qualified
10 Years plus experienced in electrical and instrument construction development support role.
understanding of offshore codes of practice, regulations and standards.
Needs to be aware of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
Project Controls, and Interdisciplinary know how.
10 years experience in construction engineering.
Oil and Gas experience highly desirable, but petrochemicals acceptable.
Offshore Survival and medical (or willingness to complete).
Must be flexible and pro-active in approach to work within a small team.
