Job Vacancy: TEMPORARY LABORATORY ASSISTANT

LABORATORY ASSISTANT - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - WREXHAM
The laboratory assistant will undertake routine laboratory duties including, routine calibration of pipettes, laboratory equipment, maintaining log books, general compliance with laboratory site systems, checking FMS and general housekeeping duties.
This would be an ideal opportunity for a school or University leaver who is interested in working within a laboratory environment to gain experience.

A company whose development strategy is based on a combination of products in targeted therapeutic areas are currently looking to recruit a temporary Laboratory Assistant.

The laboratory assistant is required for a period of 12 months to assist my clients busy Process Development Laboratory. The laboratory assistant will undertake routine laboratory duties including, routine calibration of pipettes, laboratory equipment, maintaining log books, general compliance with laboratory site systems, checking FMS and general housekeeping duties.

Minimum Requirements:
'A' levels or equivalent, preferably in science
Excellent observation skills
Good organisational skills
Good sense of prioritisation
Ability to communicate at all levels
Pro-active and adaptable
Diligent and responsible

This would be an ideal opportunity for a school or University leaver who is interested in working within a laboratory environment to gain experience. Although experienced laboratory technicians will also be considered.
