Senior Project Controller - Permanent - High Wycombe
To act as a Senior/Lead Project Controller and will have some/all responsibility for the project controls function on a large project(s), or a portfolio of medium sized projects.
Senior Project Controller required by a worldwide team of professionals involved in designing, managing and implementing leading edge programmes and projects in the water, environmental and energy sectors.
The successful candidate will act as a Senior/Lead Project Controller and will have some/all responsibility for the project controls function on a large project(s), or a portfolio of medium sized projects.
Responsibility for this role will include:
* Demonstrating advanced skill level and progressive experience within project controls related disciplines
* Being fully accountable for all aspects of their work and ability to coordinate with all relevant disciplines/individuals
* Exerting judgment and providing analysis of results of project controls and recommending actions to Project Manager
* Monitoring deviations/inconsistencies, project progress and recommending corrective action when required
Competencies
* To be successful in this role you should have strong proven competence in project control after completing undergraduate education of a degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Science, Business or similar
* You should have previous responsibility for having successfully served as a Senior Project Controller on a variety of projects for a number of PMs where they successfully completed their project controls functions, including providing analysis to the PMs on the result of their work
* You will have advanced level knowledge and skills with Primavera Client and Web Applications and ideally be able to demonstrate skills in managing and leading teams. Good negotiation, communication and formal presentation skills as well as good team work skills in working with project team members and peers is essential
