Job Vacancy: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Project Delivery:
*Management of Health, Safety & Environmental issues associated with projects.
*Managing customers' positive perception of Clients performance.
*Successfully control the project to meet its success criteria.
*Ensure Clients commercial targets are met.
*Ensure timely cash collection from clients, maintaining targeted cashflow.
*Management of engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases of the project.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

The Project Manager is totally accountable for the profitability and quality performance of study and project assignments from initiation to hand-over to the client, whilst maintaining exceptionally high levels of customer satisfaction.


MAIN DUTIES WITHIN KEY AREAS:
*Apply industry recognised Best Practice to assigned projects.
*Open communication is maintained within the project team including the supply chain.
*Control of programme, change, cost, risk, safety, quality.
*Obtain regular monthly customer feedback.
*Maximising Clients profitability and minimising cost exposure without introducing significant commercial risk - timely financial reporting within Clients remit
*Provide support to the Sales & Proposals activities of the company as required.
*Actively support the development of project management systems within the company
*Actively support Clientin promoting its project management expertise within the industry.


SPECIAL FEATURES RELEVANT TO JOB:
(eg need for working away from home base/frequency; need for periodic extensive hours)

Passion for doing projects.
Flexibility in terms of working hours and travel.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential: Degree (in Engineering based discipline).

Desirable: Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
IOSH (or equivalent) qualification, NEBOSH or higher.



EXPERIENCE:
Essential: Proven capabilities in day to day Project Management activities, including client liaison within the Process or Manufacturing Industries.

Desirable: Familiarity with the Company's target industries.
